## Title: Activation Team Lead – North Rift Region

About the Role

Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, seeks an Activation Team Lead to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float products. The successful candidate will focus on channel visitations while ensuring strong visibility and merchandising standards at point of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.

North Rift, Eldoret, Kenya

Key Responsibilities

  • SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Identify and recruit agents effectively, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores
  • Regular Field Visits – Visit SSOs and agents consistently using agreed route plans and beat plans to maintain call rates
  • Training and Business Tools – Provide requisite transaction tools and train SSOs and T-Kash agents on operational processes
  • AML Compliance – Train agents on AML protocols and SSOs on KYC processes related to SIMREG
  • Stock and Float Management – Monitor and enforce 1.5x stock rule for agents; ensure SSOs maintain adequate SIM stock for new registrations and activations
  • Merchandising Standards – Develop and maintain merchandising standards by providing materials at SSO and agent outlets

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in van sales or similar sales role
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales and distribution within FMCG or Telecommunications sector
