## Title: Volunteer Lecturer – Environment & Natural Resource Management
About the Role
Africa Nazarene University (ANU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a volunteer teaching position in Environment & Natural Resource Management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
- Review curriculum and course outlines and develop course and lesson plans
- Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
- Employ various teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities to facilitate student learning and deliver course content
- Develop learning assessment plans
- Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship, and research work
- Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas, publishing findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
- Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
- Advise students on academic, career, and related matters when required
- Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits as required
- Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and programs
Academic and Professional Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field aligned with the program domain
- OR Master's degree in a relevant field with enrollment as a PhD student at the final stage (data collection phase)
- At least three (3) years of relevant industry experience
