## Title: User Support Technologist (Networks) - Grade VIII

About the Role

Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of User Support Technologist (Networks) at Grade VIII.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cable crimping and laying
Perform network trunking
Perform mounting of data cabinets
Execute network repair and maintenance
Resolve IP conflicts
Provide user support on network-related issues
Repair and maintain university intercom systems
Perform any other duties assigned by the Network Administrator I

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or related fields from a recognized institution; OR
Higher National Diploma in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or related fields from a recognized institution, with a minimum of three (3) years of working experience as ICT Technician I Grade 7 or equivalent; OR
Diploma in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) or related fields with a minimum of nine (9) years of working experience, three (3) of which as an ICT Technician I Grade 7 or equivalent

Additional Qualifications

Membership in a recognized professional body in good standing (added advantage)
