Technical Service Specialist

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Job Objective: - Act as the primary technical contact for customers, driving IMCD's food product innovation through bench work, prototype development, and technical support at customer projects, demos, and industry events. Key Responsibilities: - Customer Technical Support Provide formulation guidance and troubleshooting to customer R&D teams, driving business growth and meeting technical KPIs. - Sales & Project Pipeline - Collaborate with sales to identify and track key projects in SalesForce, ensuring strategic growth. - Laboratory Work Conduct and document lab trials translating customer needs into innovative solutions. - Technical Training - Deliver training sessions and seminars to customers and sales teams. - Documentation & Analysis - Create technical materials and effectively communicate lab findings to stakeholders. - Product Development - Develop prototype formulation library and ensure timely project completion. - Global Collaboration - Participate in international technical teams and build relationships with supplier experts. - Lab Management - Maintain equipment, housekeeping standards, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science or a related food industry discipline - 3-5 years' experience in Food New Product Development - Strong formulation and food application expertise - Proficiency in digital tools such as Salesforce, Alchemy, or similar systems - Excellent communication skills with fluency in English - Customer-focused, collaborative, and commercially aware - Self-driven, innovative, and strategically minded
