Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for roofing and building systems using software such as Vortex, AutoCAD, or Revit
- Perform structural analysis to evaluate load capacities, stress distribution, and structural stability
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure design alignment with project objectives
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities for compliance with specifications and safety standards
- Ensure structural designs comply with applicable building codes and regulatory requirements
- Select and test appropriate materials based on project needs and environmental conditions
- Prepare accurate technical reports, design documentation, and calculations
- Deliver projects on time with minimal revisions and high accuracy
- Optimize material and resource utilization to minimize waste and cost
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS)
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, structural design, and building standards
- Knowledge of OSHA, SOPs, and regulatory compliance requirements
