Store in-Charge (Quarry) at MSVL Group

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Store In-Charge (Quarry) at MSVL Group in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inventory control including receiving, storage, issuance, and reconciliation of materials and consumables
• Maintain accurate stock records and conduct monthly and annual physical stock audits with full variance accountability
• Implement inventory control systems (FIFO/LIFO) and maintain optimal re-order levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Oversee warehouse organization, space utilization, cleanliness, and proper storage conditions
• Coordinate with procurement and accounts to align stock planning and reporting
• Supervise store staff, assign duties, manage schedules, and support training
• Monitor stock security to prevent pilferage, damage, and wastage
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company operational standards
• Prepare inventory, cost, and performance reports to support management decision-making

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Procurement & Logistics or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Store In-Charge (Quarry experience preferred)

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and team supervision capabilities
• Highly organized and proactive with ability to work with minimal supervision
