Solar PV Engineer at Safer Power Ltd

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solar PV Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of solar PV design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance, specifically within commercial and industrial environments. You will play a key role in delivering high-performance solar solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, size, and optimize commercial and C&I solar PV systems using industry-standard tools
• Conduct site assessments, shading analysis, and feasibility studies
• Oversee installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, SLDs, bills of materials, and engineering reports
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, codes, and project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery
• Provide technical support during project execution and after-sales service
• Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in solar PV engineering
• Strong understanding of PV system components, inverters, mounting structures, and Energy Storage (ESS)
• Proficient in solar design software (e.g., PVSyst, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of both local and international electrical standards, grid interconnection requirements, and safety regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
