Software Development Trainer at Modcom Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a Software Development Trainer with creativity, innovation, and a genuine passion for imparting technical concepts to students. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs that prepare students for careers in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver training according to the established training plan
• Research and design training materials in alignment with the course outline and collaborate with the Training Head to develop a comprehensive teaching plan
• Provide technical support for research and development initiatives and the implementation of new technologies
• Ensure course materials remain current and relevant
• Develop testing and evaluation procedures to assess student progress
• Support classroom culture and foster positive relationships with students
• Prepare exam content and evaluate student assessments
• Maintain accurate daily attendance records
• Maintain proper class discipline and decorum
• Stay current with state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and systems through professional and personal development activities
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional coding experience in languages such as HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap Framework, Python, or SQL Databases
• Experience with Android Apps Development using Java or Kotlin
• Knowledge of JavaScript and React
• Bachelor's degree in a software development-related course

Preferred Qualifications

• TVET Approval
• Knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning using Python and SQL
• Good understanding of Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking
