Role Purpose Statement: The Senior Relationship Officer- Credit oversees and coordinates all credit operations at the branch level, ensuring high-quality loan appraisal and administration, adherence to credit policies, and effective portfolio management, while supporting branch growth and maintaining asset quality. Ideal Job Holder Specifications. Academic: - Degree in business related fields preferably in Finance and Banking, Accounting or Economics. Professional: - Credit Professional Certifications an added advantage. Desired Work Experience: - At least Three (3) years’ working experience in a DT-Sacco, Commercial bank or a Microfinance bank. Attributes - Good understanding of SACCO credit policies, products, and SASRA regulations. - Strong credit appraisal and risk assessment skills. - Good leadership and people management skills. - High level of integrity and accountability. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Customer-focused with a risk-aware mindset. - Strong negotiation skills. - Strong analytical Skills. - Detail oriented.
