Senior Lecturer - Nursing at Kenya Methodist University (KeMU)

About the Position

Kenya Methodist University (KeMU) is seeking a qualified Senior Lecturer in Nursing to join our academic team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to nursing education and research at the university level.

Minimum Requirements

• Earned Ph.D. degree in Nursing (with specialization in Midwifery, Critical Care, Oncology, or Education) or equivalent from a recognized academic institution
• Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or research experience at university level as a Lecturer or Research Fellow, OR 6 years of research/industry experience
• Minimum 32 publication points as a lecturer or equivalent, with at least 24 points from refereed journals
• Supervised at least 3 postgraduate degree students to completion as a lecturer or equivalent
• Attendance and active contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Evidence of continued research and demonstrated effective teaching and success in student supervision
• Strong proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital instructional tools
• Current registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya
• Evidence of contribution to university life through active participation in departmental matters, student academic advising, school and university meetings, committee membership, and other service activities
