Security Officer at Kilimall

About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Security Officer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This role combines security management with operational support in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Logistics Support

• Verify courier and 3PL orders through scanning and documentation matching
• Manage seller returns handovers to vendors at the station
• Provide administrative and procurement support, including requisitions for office supplies and consumables
• Maintain strong record keeping with attention to detail

Security & Loss Prevention

• Enforce access control measures for staff, couriers, and visitors at the station
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond promptly to security requests
• Manage company parking space to ensure security and order at the station

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and security policies
• Report hazards or risks that may compromise safety or operations
• Guide staff on security awareness and compliance procedures

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Security Management, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in security, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Knowledge of e-commerce warehouse/station management systems (advantageous)
• Excellent communication, reporting, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
• Strong integrity and vigilance
