## Title: Sales Officer – Microfinance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Sales Officer in our microfinance division. In this role, you will be responsible for customer acquisition, loan processing, and credit assessment while driving business growth through effective sales and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake customer mobilization through aggressive marketing and outreach activities
  • Cross-sell financial products offered by the company and educate customers on products, approval policies, and loan access terms and conditions
  • Assist clients in completing loan applications and prepare loan analysis and recommendations for presentation to the Branch Credit Committee
  • Ensure all pre-disbursement conditions are fulfilled
  • Appraise loan applications received from individuals and companies with diligence and thoroughness
  • Investigate and assess applicants' background, character, creditworthiness, and credit history using credit reference bureau records
  • Verify all particulars contained in application forms
  • Evaluate financial projections and repayment sources
  • Ensure all applications are evaluated and submitted to the Credit Committee promptly, within two days of application receipt
  • Verify that security documentation is complete, properly executed, duly perfected, and realizable in accordance with company credit policy
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by your supervisor

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced diploma or degree
  • Minimum three years of sales experience with a financial institution
