## Title: Sales & Marketing Executive - Construction Materials
About the Role
A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Sales & Marketing Executive in the construction materials sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell a wide range of construction materials, including cement, steel, and other hardware products
- Market commercial mall facilities and services in close coordination with the internal marketing team
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively maintain professional relationships with existing clients
- Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and annual sales targets
- Conduct regular site visits, facilitate client meetings, and deliver professional product presentations
- Prepare accurate quotations, negotiate pricing effectively, and manage the sales process to successfully close deals
- Coordinate with transport and accounts teams to ensure timely product deliveries and payment processing
- Maintain accurate sales records and generate detailed reports using company systems
- Monitor market trends, track competitor activities, and gather customer feedback to improve sales strategies
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding customer accounts
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3-4 years of sales experience in construction materials (specifically steel, cement, or hardware; excludes tiles, paints, or sanitary ware)
- Deep knowledge and an established network within the steel and cement sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Full fluency in English and Kiswahili
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to track and manage lead pipelines
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- SAP experience
- Proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati
- Dynamic, high-energy, and proactive approach to field sales
- Results-oriented and self-driven mindset with ability to meet aggressive targets with minimal supervision
