## Title: Restaurant Supervisor
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position as Restaurant Supervisor. You will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and maintaining high standards of service, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure seamless restaurant functioning
- Maintain standards in the restaurant by ensuring hygiene controls, housekeeping, and procedures are followed
- Liaise with Front Office or Reservation desk to ensure all booking details are covered
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and prompt, professional complaint handling
- Monitor operating supplies and stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory and equipment to reduce spoilage, wastage, and pilferage
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Assist in training new staff and implementing service standards and operational techniques
- Manage restaurant staff including scheduling, delegation of duties, and performance monitoring
- Enforce conformity to restaurant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
- Perform opening and closing procedures as established for the restaurant
- Attend and contribute to all staff meetings, departmental trainings, and hotel-initiated trainings
- Conduct briefings on special events, menu specials, beverage specials, missing items, and other relevant occurrences
- Inspect cleanliness and condition of furniture, linen, cutlery, chinaware, glassware, condiments, and service accessories; take corrective action where necessary
- Address guest complaints and take immediate corrective action, escalating when required
- Prepare daily reports on restaurant activities, sales, and staff performance
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and ambiance of the restaurant at all times
- Perform other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as directed
