## Title: Restaurant Supervisor
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Artcaffe Coffee and Bakery in Nairobi as a Restaurant Supervisor. In this role, you will lead service operations while maintaining our high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of service staff, ensuring top-notch training, scheduling, and performance management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, maintaining seamless service and upholding Artcaffe's high standards
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests and resolving concerns professionally
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth coordination and exceptional dining experiences
- Assist in inventory management, stock control, and procurement to optimize efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Support the Restaurant Manager in implementing strategies to drive sales and enhance guest satisfaction
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with POS/ERP systems (e.g., Micros)
