## Title: Registered Clinical Officer III

About the Role

Siaya County Government is seeking dedicated Registered Clinical Officers for 10 positions based in Nairobi, Kenya. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care, manage patient treatment, and collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality health services.

Duties and Responsibilities

Take patient history, conduct examinations, diagnose and treat patients
Guide and counsel patients/clients and other staff on health issues
Implement community health care activities in liaison with other healthcare workers
Carry out minor surgical procedures in accordance with training and skills
Collect and compile clinical data
Assess, prepare and present medico-legal reports
Liaison with other healthcare personnel to ensure efficient delivery of patient care
Teach students undertaking training in the field
Refer patients/clients to appropriate clinics and specialties

Requirements for Appointment

Kenyan citizenship
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or equivalent from a recognized institution
Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
Valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
Proficiency in computer applications
