## Title: MFC Picker – Warehouse Operations

Location

Nairobi, Kenya

About the Role

Our client, an on-demand courier service that delivers products ordered through their mobile app, is seeking a MFC Picker to join their warehouse team. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with foundational warehouse operations experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process stock products into the warehouse in a priority manner and expedite workflow
  • Prepare and verify received items documents
  • Create product content and upload through warehouse systems (Danzai & Odoo)
  • Perform product and pricing quality checks using Danzai
  • Examine work for accuracy, neatness, item quality, condition, and conformance to policies and procedures
  • Perform inventory controls and maintain high quality standards for audits
  • Perform accurate cycle counts
  • Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and shipment as necessary
  • Ensure successful daily shipment of customer orders in alignment with predefined targets
  • Maintain accountability and responsibility for all picking slips in circulation
  • Ensure all customer orders are picked and shipped within applicable timelines
  • Resolve all picking and shipping errors within predefined lead times
  • Address and manage all customer shipping queries within an acceptable timeframe
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including cleaning premises and workstations at the end of shifts, and optimize space utilization
  • Collaborate with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks
  • Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in warehouse operations
  • Computer literacy
  • Certificate of good conduct (mandatory)
  • Process-oriented and well-organized with high attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical ability with capacity to leverage analytical work into action-oriented reporting and plans of action
  • Ability to articulate findings clearly using data
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
