## Title: Quality Assurance Officer
Job Purpose
The Quality Assurance Officer will implement the University's quality assurance policies, procedures, and processes while enhancing quality professional services to students, staff, and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement the University Quality Assurance policy
- Spearhead ISO 9001:2015/QMS implementation across the University
- Monitor teaching and learning activities and prepare reports
- Undertake programme evaluations within the University
- Analyze external examiners' reports
- Review all quality assurance procedures, tools, and methods
- Conduct tracer studies on matters affecting quality of training and research, and propose solutions
- Monitor adherence to University quality assurance procedures and guidelines set by national, regional, and international Quality Assurance Agencies
- Collaborate with agencies and organs responsible for quality evaluation and accreditation procedures at national and international levels
- Provide secretariat support to the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Curriculum meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university
- At least three (3) years of experience in quality assurance in a university or comparable organization
- Certificate in Quality Management Systems
- Knowledge of professional standards
- Experience using statistical or qualitative software packages
