Programme Officer, Resource Mobilization and Accountability Officer

About The Position

The National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC) is seeking an experienced professional to lead resource mobilization, strategic partnerships, and accountability initiatives. You will be responsible for implementing policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures that support the Council's syndemic diseases control programmes while promoting effective management and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support in grant proposal development, including Medium-Term Expenditure Framework processes and parliamentary budget approvals
• Develop and implement resource mobilization plans and strategies to secure necessary funding for syndemic diseases programmes
• Design and execute approved strategies for viable and sustainable private-public partnerships to expand access to private sector competencies and resources
• Develop innovative approaches for mobilizing non-financial resources and non-conventional revenue streams from local and international sources
• Prepare and support resource mobilization and partnership plans and events
• Maintain and update comprehensive grants, donors, and partners database
• Implement frameworks for mobilizing resources including donations, grants, gifts, and endowments from key stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Academic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields from a recognized institution:

  • Medicine
  • Epidemiology
  • Health Economics
  • Statistics
  • Social Sciences
  • Strategic Management
  • Public Administration
  • Project Management
  • Policy and Planning

Professional Requirements

• Membership to a relevant professional body
