Position Overview

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking experienced academic talent for a Professor position (Grade 15) in Community Health at Embu University College.

Required Qualifications

• Earned PhD degree in a relevant area of specialty
• Minimum twelve (12) years of university teaching experience, including at least three (3) years as full-time Associate Professor
• Minimum sixty (60) publication points, with at least forty (40) points from articles in refereed scholarly journals since appointment as Associate Professor
• Successful supervision to completion of at least six (6) Master's and two (2) PhD students since appointment as Associate Professor
• Evidence of successfully securing at least two (2) research grants since appointment as Associate Professor

Experience and Demonstrated Competencies

• Attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars, or workshops
• Active participation and/or leadership in university activities
• Continued engagement in research
