## Title: Procurement Officer - School Administration

About the Role

This position plays a key part in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and cost-effective procurement of school supplies, equipment, and services. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support operational efficiency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage procurement activities in line with approved budgets
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure value for money
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, LPOs, and maintain accurate procurement records
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement regulations
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate stock records
  • Coordinate with the finance team on supplier payments and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a procurement or supply chain role (school or institutional setting preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications and inventory management systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Membership with CIPS or a recognized professional body
