## Title: Principal Administration Officer

About the Position

Kenya Rural Roads Authority is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Principal Administration Officer based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the maintenance of office equipment and furniture
  • Facilitate the collation of furniture and equipment requirements from staff
  • Oversee the acquisition and allocation of furniture and equipment
  • Allocate duties and supervise staff to ensure delivery of planned targets
  • Conduct staff performance appraisals within the section
  • Generate administrative reports on repairs and maintenance activities
  • Facilitate renewal of property insurance policies
  • Oversee allocation of office accommodation and space for staff
  • Coordinate the maintenance of housing inventory
  • Maintain and update furniture and office equipment inventories

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
  • Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
  • Cumulative service period of nine (9) years of relevant work experience, with at least three (3) years at the grade of Senior Administration Officer or comparable position
  • Membership in a relevant professional body and in good standing, where applicable

  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
