## Title: Pre-school Teacher (Playgroup - PP2)

About the Role

Our client operates a growing school committed to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners. They are seeking dedicated, passionate, and creative teachers to join their Pre-school team, teaching Playgroup through PP2 levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned to CBC for Playgroup, PP1, and PP2
  • Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports exploration and holistic development
  • Facilitate play-based learning, hands-on activities, and interactive engagements
  • Observe, assess, and document children's progress in line with CBC learning outcomes
  • Maintain class discipline through positive behaviour management strategies
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians on learners' progress and wellbeing
  • Prepare teaching and learning materials and maintain proper classroom organisation
  • Support school events, extracurricular activities, and other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) from a recognized institution
  • TSC registered or in the process of registration
  • At least 2–3 years' experience teaching in a pre-school environment
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • CBC experience in early years education
  • First Aid training
  • ECD-related short courses

  • Warm, patient, and child-friendly personality
  • Creative lesson planning and ability to use a variety of teaching aids

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and passion for early childhood education
