Post of Tutorial Fellow - Community Health at Mama Ngina University College (MNUC)

About the Position

This is an entry-level academic position for Master's Degree holders joining the teaching cadre. The Tutorial Fellow will work under the direct supervision of a senior officer and contribute to teaching, research, and community engagement activities at Mama Ngina University College.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake teaching, research, and community outreach activities
• Participate in the development and review of academic programmes
• Guide and counsel students
• Supervise students in research projects at undergraduate level
• Administer examinations at undergraduate level
• Conduct student assessments
• Attend and participate in research conferences and seminars
• Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the University College

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in one of the following fields from an accredited and recognized university:
  • Population Health
  • Public Health
  • Public Reproductive Health
  • Epidemiology & Disease Control
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Community Health
  • Occupational Health & Safety
• Bachelor's degree in Population Health from an accredited and recognized university
• Current registration by relevant professional statutory bodies
• Proficiency in computer applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered for Ph.D. in area of specialty
• Membership in a professional association
• University teaching experience
