## Title: Nutrition Internship
Position Overview
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in nutrition and agricultural development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of nutrition-focused technical assistance as per the IGNITE+ model
- Contribute to strengthening institutional systems and structures towards nutrition integration for IGNITE+ clients
- Support the design and delivery of participatory training, sensitization workshops, and capacity-building sessions on nutrition integration for clients
- Support the development and piloting of capacity-building tools that integrate both gender and nutrition into the design and implementation of agriculture activities
- Respond to routine client queries and escalate where appropriate to ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries
- Support the preparation of nutrition-related reports while adhering to corporate standards and quality controls
- Accompany staff in partner meetings, workshops, and contribute to project learning activities
- Perform other related duties as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Development Studies, Agricultural Economics, or any other relevant field
- Recently completed master's degree in the above fields of study (within the last 12-18 months) or awaiting graduation
- Good understanding of global and continental commitment mechanisms for nutrition in agriculture for stakeholders such as governments, NGOs, and private sector
- Understanding of nutrition-sensitive agriculture concepts and approaches
Key Competencies
- Strong written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to write required documents in a clear, concise, well-organized manner
- Collaborative approach and openness to feedback
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams while navigating challenging or unexpected circumstances
- Advanced computer skills in a Windows-based environment, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Fluency in English
