## Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - Childline Kenya

Position Overview

Childline Kenya seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for a 9-month engagement with the Not Invisible Anymore (NIA) Program. You will be responsible for ensuring effective data-informed program implementation, assessing the impact of interventions, and demonstrating accountability to stakeholders. You will report to the Head of Programmes with oversight from the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the NIA project's M&E plan and ensure alignment with the larger NIA Programme and Childline Kenya's M&E Framework
  • Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness
  • Collect and analyze data for evidence-based decision making
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders nationally and in project sites to enhance program outcomes
  • Monitor specific indicators on child domestic work in both the Helpline system and the Government's Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS)
  • Provide quarterly data reports at national and project site levels to identify relevant trends and patterns that inform organizational interventions
  • Facilitate the regular updating of comprehensive directories of service providers at national and project site levels for effective case response

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in data management, monitoring, and evaluation, and/or program management, preferably in child protection programming
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with digital data collection and data management software (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, ODK, Taroworks, Poimapper)
  • Experience designing M&E frameworks, systems, and implementing plans and related tools
  • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate complex data clearly through data visualizations and project reporting
  • Experience working in multi-partner projects
