Manager – Information Systems Audit

Job Purpose

Lead the execution of Information Systems Audits of the Bank's IT infrastructure, producing balanced reports that highlight risk issues with practical recommendations. Monitor IT risks and controls through desk monitoring and perform routine and non-routine internal audits, investigations, procedure and policy reviews, project participation, administrative assignments, and evaluation and reporting of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Head of Department in preparing comprehensive, long-range Audit Plans covering all audit activities, prioritizing audit assignments based on risk assessment, and scheduling follow-up activities efficiently
• Perform surveys of functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of IT operations and assess the adequacy of system controls based on risk assessment
• Develop audit programs to verify and ensure the organization complies with all relevant laws and regulations
• Stay current with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to technology and information security
• Ensure that the bank's technology practices align with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Manage audit resources in individual audit assignments to maintain professional standards and execute all assigned audit steps within approved time budgets
• Oversee and conduct technology audits assessing IT infrastructure, systems, processes, information security, data governance, and technology risk management
• Examine and identify areas for improvement, determining the adequacy of the system of controls
• Evaluate and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the bank's technology environment and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks
• Review work performed and verify deliverables to ensure audit objectives are achieved and complete audit documentation
