About the Role

A reputable organization is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maintenance Intern to join their team in Nairobi. In this hands-on position, you will support day-to-day property operations while gaining valuable experience in a real hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and common areas
• Support the team in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance troubleshooting
• Help conduct preventive maintenance checks as guided by the supervisor
• Ensure tools and equipment are handled safely and stored properly
• Report faults, damages and maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all maintenance areas

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in electrical, plumbing, or general repair work (training institution or hands-on exposure)
• Eagerness to learn and ability to follow instructions
• Good teamwork, reliability and professionalism
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
