About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for a Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist position based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders and ensure regulatory compliance
- Counsel patients on medication use, adherence, and safety
- Safely handle and dispense medications, monitor adverse reactions, and maintain accurate records
- Support telepharmacy consultations and collaborate with virtual care teams
- Use telehealth tools for medication management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Current license or registration as a Pharmaceutical Technologist
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacy standards
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital tools
