## Title: Legal Assistant – Judgment Enforcement & Recovery

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to support its judgment enforcement and legal recovery operations. This position involves managing court cases, coordinating enforcement processes, conducting research, and supporting the litigation team across administrative and field-based responsibilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update detailed registers of all judgments and enforcement matters, tracking status, deadlines, and outcomes
  • Coordinate the execution of judgments: lodging enforcement applications, instructing service providers, monitoring asset localization and seizure, and managing garnishment processes
  • Manage administrative and registry work: organize files, track document movement, schedule court and registry deadlines, and maintain digital and physical archives
  • Liaise with external and internal advocates, service providers, enforcement agents, courts, registries, and clients to ensure timely progress and updates
  • Draft and review enforcement-related legal documents including letters of demand, notices of execution, attachments, and settlement agreements
  • Conduct legal research on enforcement procedures, applicable statutes, case law, registry rules, and asset tracing methodologies
  • Monitor debtor compliance and prepare enforcement reports with recommended follow-up actions
  • Support the litigation and enforcement team in collection and recovery work, including compliance monitoring, report preparation, and settlement negotiations
  • Conduct court and registry visits to manage proceedings and filing requirements
  • Assist in coordinating and managing service of documents, including logistics and coordination
  • Accompany auctioneers as the company's representative or observer during enforcement coordination activities
  • Conduct client, witness, and debtor follow-ups to verify compliance with payment terms and settlement schedules
  • Perform physical verification of assets and property ownership, and obtain or confirm addresses for service or attachment purposes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and professional standards, and maintain strict confidentiality of client and enforcement matters
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
