Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Karatina University as a Lecturer in Religion.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and assess courses in Religion at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Supervise undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programmes
• Supervise dissertations and theses at graduate level
• Participate in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Initiate, promote, and participate in research projects
• Provide professional and community services, and initiate linkages and fundraising activities
• Carry out administrative and other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Earned Doctorate degree or equivalent from a recognized academic institution
• Registration or qualification for registration by a relevant professional body
• Fulfillment of the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya

Preferred Qualifications

• Published academic work and research contributions
