About the Role

The Department of Rehabilitative Sciences is seeking a qualified Lecturer, Grade 12 to join our academic team.

Required Qualifications

All applicants must possess the following:

• An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Social Work, Biomedical Sciences, or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized university
• A Master's degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Sociology, Social Work, or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized university
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Social Work, or Sociology from a recognized institution
• Registration or certification with the Physiotherapy Council of Kenya, Occupational Therapy Council of Kenya, or Kenya Medical Social Workers Association

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants who possess the following additional qualifications will have an added advantage:

• At least three (3) publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Teaching experience in an institution of higher learning
