## Title: Law Lecturer

About the Role

An established institution is seeking a Law Lecturer to contribute to academic excellence through curriculum development, innovative teaching, and scholarly research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
  • Review curriculum and course outlines and develop course and lesson plans
  • Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
  • Employ various teaching methods (such as field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities) to facilitate student learning and deliver course content
  • Develop learning assessment plans
  • Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship projects, and research work
  • Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas, publishing findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
  • Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
  • Advise students on academic, career, and related matters as required
  • Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits as required
  • Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and programs

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at university level as a lecturer, OR five (5) years of research/industry experience with a track record of securing research funds
  • Minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed scholarly journals
