## Title: IT Support and Systems Administrator
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their IT team in a comprehensive support and systems administration role.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain all company computer hardware, operating system software, and local network systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and core servers
- Provide timely technical support to end-users by identifying, analyzing, and resolving all IT-related problems
- Ensure the security of IT systems through routine data backup procedures, antivirus protection management, and strict user access controls
- Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including core devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards across the organization to maintain compliance
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to continuously improve overall operational efficiency
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to assess and address their specific IT needs and requirements
- Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, major migrations, and new infrastructure installations
- Document all IT systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or network management
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Demonstrated experience managing network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Familiarity with IT security principles, antivirus systems, and data backup solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or Cisco CCNA
