## Title: Investment Advisor
About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in investment advisory services. You will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and building a sustainable client base across corporate and retail segments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide suitable investment advice tailored to clients' needs and requirements
- Prepare and present proposals to existing and potential clients using state-of-the-art investment planning tools
- Meet with clients to understand their financial objectives and develop appropriate strategies
- Explain complex investment information in a clear and accessible manner
- Manage, maintain, and build new and existing client relationships
- Grow your client book within the first 6 months and consistently thereafter
- Adhere to compliance, operational procedures, and practice management standards
- Stay current with product information, performance data, and industry changes
- Consistently achieve allocated Sales Production Targets as per performance scorecard
Required Education and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field
- Relevant Commercial or Financial tertiary qualification
- CISI Module I and II
- Postgraduate Diploma in Investment Planning (advantageous)
Required Experience and Knowledge
- 5 years' experience in the Financial Services industry in a Sales role within Asset/Wealth and Investment management
- Knowledge and understanding of allocated market dynamics
- Experience and track record in high-performance sales environments
- Knowledge of best practice in Investment Planning and Advisory Services
- Knowledge and understanding of investment planning through meaningful client engagements
- Knowledge of consultative sales methodology
- Experience using CRM systems
