Injector Pump Technician - Nairobi at Emerge Egress Consulting

Role Objective

Our Engineering client in Nairobi deals in heavy machinery spare parts, accessories, and fittings for the manufacturing, oil and gas industry. We seek a qualified and competent technician able to work with various brands of injector pump systems.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical expertise regarding injector pumps and parts
• Deliver technical advice and support in supply, maintenance, and calibration of injector pumps and parts
• Inspect, repair, and maintain injectors
• Perform tests and conduct routine maintenance and servicing on injectors
• Test received pumps and injectors as per job orders and customer specifications
• Assist in repairing pumps and injectors with required parts
• Source sales leads and conduct regular field visits to prospects
• Participate in planning and execution of marketing and sales promotional activities
• Conduct customer visits and provide support through training and supply of catalogues and training materials
• Assist in developing parts distribution network through identification of potential partners
• Conduct comprehensive market research, qualify leads, and craft persuasive proposals
• Prepare accurate quotations ensuring customers are informed of prices and stock availability in a timely manner
• Provide exemplary client service through timely follow-ups and tailored solutions
• Develop detailed customer profiles to understand current and future requirements
• Follow up with credit customers to ensure timely payment for parts purchased on credit
• Respond promptly to customer complaints to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
• Assist in record keeping, filing, and stock taking
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned
