## Title: Head of Alternative Channels
About the Role
Liberty Life is expanding its dynamic team and seeking an experienced leader to drive growth across alternative distribution channels. In this strategic role, you will design and execute a comprehensive multi-year growth strategy, build and manage key partnerships, and lead a high-performing team to achieve ambitious sales targets in life and pensions products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive multi-year growth strategy for alternative channels, identifying new partnership opportunities and market trends
- Source, negotiate, onboard, and manage relationships with key partners across various sectors (retail, telecom, online brokers, affinity groups) to support agreed life and pensions sales targets
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers to support retention and cross-selling opportunities
- Develop partner management policies to guide Liberty Life's procedures in managing partner sales in line with set rules and regulations
- Handle compliance reporting to ensure business is carried out in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Establish KPIs and a robust performance management framework to track partnership success and implement corrective actions as needed
- Be accountable for the channel's P&L, driving premium income, policy count, and market share through partnerships
- Review sales targets from the Group Head of Sales and Distribution and develop targets for various product lines through alternate channels
- Own the performance and profitability of the alternate channel by monitoring productivity against set targets
- Ensure quality incentive schemes are developed and implemented to drive achievement of channel goals
- Prepare performance reports to management on agency results
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, mentor, and coach staff
- Develop and deliver training programs for partner staff to ensure they are knowledgeable, motivated, and compliant when selling company products
Financial Management
- Grow alternate channel revenue according to set targets
- Manage expenses within approved budget
