Graphic Designer at Nabo Capital

Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing creative assets across various platforms, developing and maintaining brand guidelines, and producing visual materials to support marketing campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include creating graphic content for digital and print media, collaborating with teams to deliver effective visual communication, and ensuring consistency in all branding efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Content Creation

• Develop digital and print designs including social media graphics, presentations, reports, website visuals, and marketing materials
• Create motion graphics, GIFs, and short animations where needed
• Collaborate with photography and videography teams to enhance visual storytelling

Brand Consistency & Identity Management

• Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all platforms
• Refine brand assets and templates to keep them modern and competitive
• Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work with content, social media, and digital strategy teams on campaign visuals
• Translate complex investment concepts into visually appealing infographics
• Deliver design assets on time for all campaigns

Creative Innovation

• Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices
• Innovate and experiment with new styles and formats
• Contribute ideas during creative and campaign brainstorming sessions

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Strong graphic design and visual communication skills
• Ability to develop original concepts for branding and marketing materials
• Solid knowledge of layout design, typography, and color theory
• Demonstrated experience producing visuals for both digital and print platforms
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines
