## Title: Food & Beverage Manager
Role Objective
Our client, a hotel with locations in Amboseli and Masai Mara, is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets. The role ensures quality service delivery, operational efficiency, compliance with hygiene standards, and a positive guest experience while supporting revenue growth.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while overseeing F&B orders, staff, and finances
- Ensure smooth running of food and beverage operations to maintain the highest levels of quality and service standards
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on activities and revenue generation
- Conduct regular staff meetings to facilitate communication, information sharing, address concerns, and stay current with industry trends
- Serve as the primary contact point for individual and corporate client inquiries, ensuring professional service and meeting their needs
- Coordinate function bookings and ensure proper service delivery, delegating responsibilities to F&B Supervisors as needed
- Establish departmental targets, schedules, policies, and procedures
- Monitor inventory and manage cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Plan and design innovative menus that attract target clients, meet revenue targets, reflect current trends, and incorporate client preferences
- Assist with recruiting and hiring suitable candidates; mentor staff and foster a culture of teamwork and excellence
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote food and beverage offerings and special events
- Develop and implement food and beverage initiatives to ensure hotel targets are achieved
- Implement a hands-on management approach to stay informed about daily operations
