Job description
## Title: Fiscal Analyst
Job Purpose
This position is responsible for preparing budget review reports, monitoring budgetary performance, and processing requisitions for the Office of the Controller of Budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement policies, strategies, standards, frameworks, work plans, legislation, guidelines, procedures, and regulations on budget implementation
- Receive and collate all requisitions and supporting documents related to national government from the National Treasury and Counties
- Analyze requisitions and supporting documents and prepare summaries
- Maintain tracking records of all requisitions
- Collect and collate data on budget implementation for National and County Governments
- Implement formats for requisitions and approvals of fund withdrawals
- Maintain inventory of resolutions adopted on reports with relevant Government entities
- Track and record compliance and implementation of COB report recommendations by accounting officers from public entities
- Implement the department's charter
- Implement the business continuity plan for the department
- Promote Business Process Re-engineering (BPR)
- Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and good corporate citizenship

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Economics
- Statistics
- Finance
- Commerce (Finance or Accounting Option)
- Business Administration (Finance or Accounting Option)
- Business Management (Finance or Accounting Option)
