About This Role

As the Film & Theatre Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the artistic experience of learners through engaging practical instruction and creative guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design engaging, practical, and learner-centered lessons
• Guide students through performances, projects, and creative expression
• Use modern teaching methods and digital tools to elevate learning
• Assess learners through varied methods including performances, presentations, quizzes, and exams
• Provide continuous feedback and support individualized learning needs
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and best teaching practices
• Actively participate in professional development to grow in your craft

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film & Theatre Education or Film/Theatre plus PGDE
• TSC registration or proof of registration in progress
• Strong understanding of the Kenyan curriculum, especially CBE
