## Title: Facilities and Property Manager

About the Role

A Facilities and Property Manager maintains and oversees a company's grounds, buildings, and equipment to ensure that workspaces are safe and functional. This role involves negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations, and coordinating renovations and updates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilities Processes and Management
  • Facilities and Utilities Management, including space standards, usage optimization, repair and maintenance, security, caretaking, cleaning, and energy management
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance in buildings and building works
  • Building insurance management
  • Stakeholder management including tenants, landlords, caretakers, and internal management
  • Budgeting, budgeting compliance, and cost tracking
  • Team management and line management of multi-skilled teams
  • Facilities and projects reporting as per agreed parameters and timelines
  • Customer service and professional commitment to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Science, or Architecture
  • NEBOSH or IOSH Certification
  • Membership in one of the following: International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), Kenya Property Developers Association (KPDA), or Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar facilities management role within a medium to large organization
  • Proven line management responsibility for a multi-skilled team
