English & Literature Teacher

The programme offers structured mentoring, meaningful teaching experience and broad exposure to pastoral and student development in a vibrant boarding school environment. Key Responsibilities: - Supporting subject teachers in the delivery of lessons in English & Literature, Mathematics or Science subjects. - Assisting with lesson preparation, learning resources and classroom organisation. - Providing academic support to individuals and small groups of students. - Supporting boarding routines, evening duties and weekend activities under the guidance of House staff. - Assisting with sports training, fixtures and outdoor education activities. - Supporting clubs, societies, trips and whole-school events. - Contributing to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students. Essential Requirements: - A Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in English & Literature subject. - Strong subject knowledge and a genuine interest in teaching and student development. - Willingness to contribute fully to boarding life, sports and co-curricular activities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - High levels of professionalism, reliability and initiative. - Willingness to work some evenings and weekends as part of boarding and activity programmes. Additional Requirements: - Valid KRA PIN, National ID, Bank Account Details and a recent Police Clearance Certificate (or willingness to obtain). - Registered with TSC
