Direct Sales Executive (Home Broadband)- Mombasa

About the Role

An established company is seeking a Direct Sales Executive to drive customer acquisition and sales initiatives in the home broadband market in Mombasa. You will be responsible for managing the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition through onboarding, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with customer acquisition and onboarding processes, including KYC verification and customer education on service packages
• Collaborate with the Line Manager to develop, execute, and monitor sales initiatives in the assigned area
• Track adherence to SLAs for customer acquisition and onboarding
• Recover devices from non-compliant customers
• Provide first-level support with on-ground troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues
• Escalate complex customer issues and network problems that cannot be resolved at first level
• Conduct daily collation of target achievement and track monthly trends within assigned markets
• Prepare dashboards and reports for weekly reviews and ad-hoc reporting as required
• Monitor and report on competitor activities and market dynamics
• Provide customer insights and identify products or services that meet their needs
• Plan and execute on-ground marketing initiatives, including roadshows, estate storms, and mall activations

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree or Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification
• 1+ years of outdoor sales experience (preferably in the telecom industry, but not mandatory)
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of the competitive landscape, devices offered, packages, and commission schemes
• Tech-savvy with knowledge of solutions across both 5G and Fixed Wireless Services
• Resilience and ability to deliver against stretch targets
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and drive

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of telecom and fixed wireless industry trends
