## Title: Professor of Counseling Psychology

Africa Nazarene University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Professor in Counseling Psychology.

Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as an Associate Professor
Minimum of sixty (60) publication points as an Associate Professor or equivalent, with at least forty (40) from refereed scholarly journals
National, regional, and international recognition for research
Supervised at least five (5) postgraduate students to completion, including at least two (2) doctoral students
Demonstrated ability to attract research funds as an Associate Professor or equivalent

Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
Review curriculum and course outlines; develop course and lesson plans
Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
Employ various teaching methods (field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities) to facilitate student learning and deliver course content
Develop learning assessment plans
Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, internship placements, and research work
Conduct departmental and specialist research; publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
Advise students on academic, career, and related matters
Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and industrial linkages as required
Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and programs
