Control & Automation Technician (Salgaa Plant)

This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. - The Control and Automation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of electrical, instrumentation and automation systems across the dairy processing plant. The role ensures continuous operation of process equipment, high plant reliability, and adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Requirements: - Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering. - Minimum of 4 years in industrial automation, preferably in a dairy or food processing environment. - Strong knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S7, Allen-Bradley, or similar). - Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems and industrial communication networks (Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). - Hands-on experience with variable frequency drives, soft starters, and control panels. - Good understanding of process control instrumentation and calibration. - Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. - Good communication and teamwork. - Strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
