Catering and Sanitation Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Cleaning Oversight

• Supervise cleaning teams and ensure all school spaces meet required hygiene standards
• Implement and monitor cleaning schedules not handled by the outsourced company
• Manage internal cleaning inventory and ensure proper usage
• Conduct routine inspections for compliance

Catering & Kitchen Management

• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure timely, hygienic meal preparation
• Monitor food quality, storage, and portion control
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards
• Maintain kitchen inventory and support procurement planning

Staff Coordination

• Train, guide, and supervise kitchen and cleaning staff
• Prepare duty rosters and monitor attendance
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and discipline

Health, Safety & Hygiene

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Support hygiene and sanitation awareness initiatives

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and operations
• Prepare periodic reports on housekeeping and catering performance
• Support school events requiring catering or venue setup

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Housekeeping, Catering, Hospitality, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a school, hotel, or institutional kitchen/housekeeping role
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
• Excellent supervisory, organizational, and communication skills
