## Title: Business Development Officer – Broker Channel

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to drive business growth through the broker channel. You will be responsible for enabling clients' needs fulfillment through product expertise, supporting the sales team on acquisition opportunities, and expanding our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a culture of effective and efficient service delivery to customers within the team to drive customer retention and satisfaction
  • Generate and convert business opportunities to achieve allocated production targets
  • Expand the broker distribution network through recruitment and reactivation of dormant brokers
  • Distribute, negotiate, and close business deals in accordance with company quality guidelines to increase market share
  • Support the business development team in preparing tender documents to enhance business acquisition and meet organizational growth objectives
  • Maintain effective records management for brokers and agents
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Provide accurate and relevant management information to stakeholders to support business growth objectives
  • Gather market intelligence, issue competitive quotes, and follow up with prospects for deal closure
  • Assist with travel and direct business development initiatives
  • Provide accurate and competitive quotations across all product lines with prompt delivery to brokers and prospective clients
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer instructions are executed within established timelines and enhance service levels
  • Coordinate with the Bancassurance team to achieve corporate sales targets
  • Develop detailed product knowledge and maintain awareness of market conditions and industry developments
  • Monitor customer preferences to guide sales focus and strategy
  • Exploit synergies with other Group companies to maximize business opportunities
