## Title: Business Development Officer

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within Fireside Engineering Group. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing competitive bid proposals, and building strong client relationships to drive strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, and tenders aligned with company objectives
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic growth initiatives
  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements
  • Develop cost estimates and pricing strategies to achieve profitability and competitiveness
  • Build and maintain strong client, partner, and stakeholder relationships to drive long-term business growth
  • Collaborate with technical, finance, and project teams to gather inputs for proposals and ensure successful project execution
  • Ensure all business development and tender processes comply with legal, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, safeguarding the organization's financial and operational interests
  • Maintain organized records of tenders, contracts, and business development documentation for accountability and reporting
  • Track, analyze, and report on bid outcomes and business performance, recommending strategies for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in Business Administration, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development
  • Ability to create visually appealing and engaging bid presentations
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple bids simultaneously
