## Title: Business Development Manager – Corporate Life Insurance
Job Summary
Liberty Life seeks a dedicated Business Development Manager to lead the development, growth, and management of insurance sales strategy across an assigned portfolio of intermediaries. The role holder will drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and cross-selling opportunities within the corporate life insurance segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies across Group Life, Pensions, and Income Draw Down products, leveraging alternative channels (Independent Agents, Franchise partners, and Brokers) to achieve personal and team targets
- Collaborate closely with client service teams to execute sales strategies and realize established sales objectives
- Generate revenue through strategic cross-selling within the Liberty Group, spearheading joint go-to-market initiatives
- Maximize client value by cross-selling the full suite of Liberty products to the existing client base
- Lead annual strategic workshops for Group Clients, providing education on relevant industry topics and showcasing tailored Liberty solutions
- Oversee and accelerate effective market growth and adoption of new products
- Mentor and manage Business Development Executive (BDE) team members to ensure successful attainment of individual sales targets
- Analyze and synthesize regular performance reports for management, detailing personal and team achievement against targets
- Identify and interpret clients' complex needs, translating them into actionable solutions that drive relevant and optimized product mix
- Cultivate and strengthen key relationships with internal and external partners (Brokers, Independent Agents, Franchise partners) to maximize commercial support and influence
- Conduct comprehensive training for partners and clients on product features to foster optimal partnership support and adoption
- Champion the motivation, training, mentorship, and development of direct team members to expand their capacity and career prospects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Professional qualification in Insurance
